Help:Guiding Principles and Policies - getting the tabs on all pages[edit source]

We appreciate your offer to improve the FamilySearch Wiki. However, please do not change the formatting of the pages without first contacting us, explaining the changes you wish to make and getting permission to make the change. Formatting has been decided by the consensus of employees and volunteers who are assigned to the FamilySearch Wiki. Parrisl (talk) 21:52, 28 November 2016 (UTC)

Ireland Taxation page[edit source]

Hello Ryan --

I noticed that you reverted the changes I made on the Ireland Taxation page and tagged them as 'Vandalism'. I would appreciate it if you would contact a contributor, such as myself, before reverting the changes, in order to collaborate and discuss your thoughts. Are you a FamilySearch employee? I'd like to understand your reasoning.

I am a specifically assigned Wiki Support worker, and the work I did on that page is according to Wiki guidelines and format standards. I will be reverting my changes back. Please contact me if you want to discuss particular entries and we can go from there.

Thanks!

Ireland Taxation page[edit source]

Hello, again --

First, I made some additional changes to the Ireland Taxation page to more clearly identify online records in the two sections in question (Tithe Applotments) and (Griffith's Primary Valuation).

Then I noticed that other Ireland pages still have the same format as the Ireland Taxation page did before my changes - i.e., with Online Databases at the top and information/entries under that heading sometimes repeated in other sections of the page. This is something I generally change, to organize and remove unneeded duplicates. However, since my changes are different from the other Ireland pages, I have asked the content manager to advise. Please stand by...

Thanks!
