Military Project[edit source]
Can you fix this page, https://wiki.familysearch.org/en/100th_Regiment,_New_York_Infantry? Information is not collated properly. Dsammy 18:11, 23 August 2011 (UTC)
I fixed bread crumb trail. MJM
Missing regiments[edit source]
I find it odd only one regiment is listed for New York (Manhattan) County.
Military recruitment - mentioned more than 150,000 troops, not counting the tens of thousands called up for emergencies.
There were quite numerous of them, a few named:
- - New York Fire Zouves (11th Regiment)
- - 127th Regiment aka "The Monitors"
- - 1st U.S. Sharpshooters
- - 9th New York (Hawkin's Zouves)
- - 10th New York (National Guard Zouves)
- - Anderson Zouves
- - Excelsior Brigade
Thanks from the Wiki:[edit source]
The FamilySearch Research Wiki is delighted to let you know that the “Native Americans in the Civil War” page you helped create was a Featured Article, highlighted on the Main Page of the Wiki 8/9/11, and remained there for seven days. Thank you for your excellent work to help others quickly access records. Your contributions are appreciated and have assisted others in finding their ancestors.
You have made a difference in research!
Levels of Headings[edit source]
Hi Marilyn, I got the message on the levels of headings weeks ago and emailed you that that was fine. As far as I know I haven't changed any since. Larry0011 02:54, 7 September 2011 (UTC)

Stub Removal[edit source]
We at the FamilySearch Wiki would like to use this article,Jo Daviess County, Illinois, for a featured article on the Main Page of the Wiki. However, the word "stub" appears at the very top of the page. If you feel there is enough content to give researchers a good place to work from - we need YOU to remove the word "stub" from the article before we can feature it.
Thank you for your consideration.

Sandboxes in the main namespace[edit source]
Hi Marilyn, I've noticed that you've recently created a series of sandboxes (User:MarkhamMJ/Sandbox:Blair, User:MarkhamMJ/Sandbox:Evans, User:Glendamarjean/Sandbox:Peterson, User:MarkhamMJ/Sandbox:Jacobson, User:MarkhamMJ/Sandbox:Markham, User:AftonBartlett/Sandbox:Bartlett, User:BechtolKB /Sandbox:Bechtol, User:MarkhamMJ/Sandbox:Eccles & Sandbox:Hill). The best places for these are as subpages to either a userspage or a project page (if they relate to a specific project).
The reason why they should not be left in the where they are is because any article created in the FamilySearch Wiki:Main namespace, the contents of these pages will show up in default searches. If you would like some moving them, please let me know. --Steve 16:41, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
