Linda Richards Chappell lives in the northernmost region of New Hampshire. This area was once known as the Indian Stream Republic, a micro-country between the United States and Canada. Her genealogical work has been centered upon this area which was settled by families immigrating south through Quebec as well as from the southern New England states.
Origionally trained in accounting and its related auditing field, Chappell has embarked in her later years on editing the family lines found in FamilySearch related to the eastern townships of Quebec, the northeast corner of Vermont, and northern Coös County, New Hampshire
