The site provides tips for searching Mormon pioneer ancestors who came during the 1847 to 1868 time period and from "Europe, Scandinavia, Australia, and South Africa." The tips will take you through a step-by-step process for searching the available records.

The Mormon Pioneer Search option conducts a search in the database of several sources. Some of these sources include pioneer rosters from the Deseret News, Ship Rosters, 1850 Utah Census, Various Daughters of Utah Pioneer publications, and other sources.
