Introduction[edit | edit source]

Serbo-Croatian is one language written in two different alphabets. Croatian uses the Roman alphabet with diacritic marks over some letters. Serbian uses the Cyrillic alphabet. Please note that the Croatian letter “d” is also written as “dj”.

The Serbo-Croatian language has a complex grammar which causes words to have different endings depending on their grammatical usage. In actual use, words may appear in a form different from that shown here.
