Parishes of Historic Denbighshire
Listed below are those ecclesiastical parishes which were in historic Denbighshire, Wales.
Under the Local Government Act 1972, the county and administrative county of Denbighshire were abolished, for both local government and ceremonial purposes, on April 1, 1974.
However, the boundaries of the modern Denbighshire are quite different from those of the historic Denbighshire!
Today, these parishes are to be found within either:
the modern county of Denbighshire
the County Borough of Wrexham, Wales Genealogy
the County Borough of Conwy, Wales Genealogy
the county of County of Powys, Wales Genealogy |
