Parish History[edit | edit source]
WENLOCK, or Much Wenlock (Holy Trinity), a borough, market-town, and parish, having separate jurisdiction, and the head of a liberty in the union of Madeley, S. division of Shropshire, 12 miles (S. E.) from Shrewsbury, and 148 (N. W.) from London. Wenlock is the head of a deanery. There is a place of worship for Wesleyans.
