The Lac Courte Oreilles Reservation was established by Treaty of Sept. 30, 1854 (x, 1109); lands withdrawn by General Land Office, Nov.22, 1860, Apr. 4, 1865 (see report by Secretary of the Interior, Mar. 1, 1873) and Act of May 29, 1872 (xvii, 190)[1].
