Introduction[edit | edit source]

The records of the Guernsey (and the other islands in the Bailiwick of Guernsey) are housed in a few locations on Guernsey. While some of these records are available on the FamilySearch Catalog, Ancestry, and FindMyPast, the majority of records have not yet been digitized. These records must be accessed either through ordering them, visiting in person, or hiring a researcher.
