The FamilySearch Research Help content was reviewed for possible inclusion in FamilySearch Research Wiki. This article documents the decisions that were made. The task to move content from FamilySearch Research Help to FamilySearch Research Wiki was given to the research consultants in the Family History Library. Wiki community members also helped with the project.
The remaining content was not specific to a single locality:

Glossary[edit | edit source]
The glossary in the Wiki was originally obtained from SourceGuide. The glossary on FamilySearch.org contains more content than what was obtained from SourceGuide. The glossary on FamilySearch.org contains a lot of translations from foreign languages to English. It is possible that the foreign language words in the FamilySearch glossary are repeated in the Word Lists. Further analysis is needed to know for sure. When working on this project the two glossaries need to be compared and additional terms added to the Wiki.
