Parish History[edit | edit source]

"STOCKWITH, EAST, a township, in the parish and union of Gainsborough, wapentake of Corringham, parts of Lindsey, county of Lincoln, 3¾ miles (N. N. W.) from Gainsborough. There is a place of worship for Wesleyans. partly by the Church Commissioners. The living is in the gift of the Bishop of Lincoln. There is a place of worship for Wesleyans."[1]
