Parish History[edit | edit source]

CHEVERELL, GREAT (St. Peter), a parish, in the union of Devizes, hundred of Swanborough, Devizes and N. divisions of Wilts, 6 miles (S. by W.) from Devizes. There is a place of worship for Independents. [1]



CHEVERELL (Great), a parish in Devizes district, Wiltshire; 2½ miles W by N of Market-Lavington, and 5½ SSW of Devizes railway station.[2]
