Parish History[edit | edit source]
BREDHURST (St. Peter), a parish, in the union of Hollingbourne, hundred of Eyhorne, lathe of Aylesford, W division of Kent, 5 miles SSE from Chatham. There is a small dissenters' place of worship.[1]

Bredhurst was formed initially as a chapelry within Hollingbourne, Kent Genealogy Ancient parish but later became an Ancient parish in the Diocese of Rochester. See Church website for other churches grouped in the South Gillingham benefice.
The Norman Parish church of St Peter Hurstwood Road Bredhurst has been designated as a grade II listed building British listed building
