Parish History[edit | edit source]

Arden is an Ecclesiastical Parish in the county of Yorkshire, created in 1733 from Hawnby Yorkshire Ancient Parish.[1]

ARDEN, with Ardenside, a township, in the parish of Hawnby, union of Helmsley, wapentake of Birdforth, North Riding of Yorkshire.[2]
