Standards for embedding links[edit source]

Hi User Lrheyn,

I noticed that you edited the Jewish Census page with the link: "http://www.usgwcensus.org/". Links should not display the full URL.

Please review the Wiki Policies using the link below:

https://www.familysearch.org/wiki/en/FamilySearch_Wiki:Manual_of_Style#Links_should_not_display_the_full_URL

May I suggest using the following code: USGENWEB

If you have any questions please respond using you UserTalk page.

Thank you,

Teryls (Tery Schantzen)

Good Evening Lrheyn,

Thank you for all the work you are doing with the "Fixing Broken Links Project". It is a great help to keep our links up-to-date! I noticed on the following page you added the same link to births for both the Baptism and Burial columns. Just checking to see if you really meant to do that! Holme St John, Lancashire Genealogy

Thanks!

Yes, the links to the Lancashire Online Parish Clerk births, marriage, and burial records is the same link. It goes to a landing page from which the specific records are found. Lrheyn (talk) 10:58, 8 January 2021 (MST)

broken link[edit source]

you have a broken link a number means you have to name the link, such as help center, you will need a | in between the URL and the name of the page if it is within wiki---if you need more help you can go to the wiki university page as follows Wikitext Broken Links
