PNG file transparency question[edit source]
I contacted you because I saw your name attached to this image:
I tried to use this image. See:
When I submitted the graphic for upload the transparancy was intact, but now isn't being perserved. The graphic has a drop shadow and it's "background" is transparent---so if one placed it on a colored background one would only see the post-it-note shape and it's shadow....not a black square.
Please advise! Thank you

Hum, when I look at the image on your sandbox page link it shows the black square. But you say on your machine, when you look at it there is no black square??? So is it a browser interpratation thing of PNG files? I'm using Firefox on an imac.

Janell changed Sandbox2 for me. See the text above the boxes and see if you think that's enough. And Ha! you didn't sign the message on my Talk page.averyld 21:02, 27 July 2012 (UTC)
Barnardo's children[edit source]
The page was not meant to be a biography of Thomas Barnardo, but an introduction to his schools & homes as background for a researcher. I hope you can see that tens of thousands of children were affected by his schools and especially by being "boarded out" from England to Canada and Australia. Perhaps I should edit the article. I meant it to be a guide for people who may be descended from one of Barnardo's children. I would prefer the article not be deleted.

Maine Help Wanted[edit source]
The page indicates the Migration Routes subjects in black are pages that are needed. However, the first one in black on the list, Atlantic Coast Ports, is a viable page. If the title is copied and pasted into the Search, Learning & How-To's box it leads to a well developed page. There must be a problem with the connection. The other black titles in Migration Routes did not lead to a page. Thank you for your consideration of this item.

Email to user[edit source]
Hi, Lee! Actually, I did not get an email that you had posted to my talk page. I must not have a watch on it. I did get the Wiki notice when I signed in. AdkinsWH 23:40, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
- Well, an email just came, so I take it back! Thanks for the learning! AdkinsWH 23:59, 6 June 2013 (UTC)
