Template for links to[edit source]

Hi, I noticed you adding link from the Poor Law Union pages to Peter Higginbotham's web site: I thought you would like to know about the template {{Workhouse}} that you could use to help add these links with the wording as stipulated by the website. --Steve 08:20, 25 May 2011 (UTC)

Internal links[edit source]

It looks like you're doing a lot of wonderful work in the wiki.  You might want to check instructions for internal links.  I've been correcting them as I patrol the pages.  It's a simple process.  When you copy the link into the link box, just take off the information before the actual page title.  Then it will show as an internal link.  You might take a look at the ones I've corrected to see how they look, and there's a good page on working with internal links.  Thanks for all your hard work!Lynda 15:25, 25 October 2011 (UTC)

I'd love to help you with internal links and FS links. I'll be going out of town today (10/31) but will be on my laptop for mission stuff there. Could we get together sometime this week? Lynda 18:11, 31 October 2011 (UTC)

ki badge[edit source]

If you want any changes made to the ki badge just let me know and I can make them or feel free to edit it yourself.

One of the things I added was the the ability to automatically add the pages to the category "FamilySearch Historical Records Known Issues" so a category no longer needs to be added to the end of the page. You only need to add a category if you want to add the page additional categories. Lotje 05:49, 2 May 2012 (UTC)

Moving/Deleting pages[edit source]

Hi, thanks for all your work on these known issues page. Just a quick thing you might want to be aware of. If you need to change the name of an article, instead of creating a new page and deleting the old page, you can "Move" the page. Over on the right, under Views, find the "Move" link. Click on that. Enter the name of the new page. This will create the page in the new location automatically, it might be a little easier for you. Thanks! -- janellv (talk| contribs) 15:12, 9 May 2013 (UTC)

Virginia, Freedmen's Bureau Records page[edit source]

We had a Skype comment come in from a contributor about this page and I saw you edited it just yesterday. I thougth you might look at it. Virginia, Freedmen's Bureau Field Office Records - FamilySearch Historical Records . The comment made was regarding the template at the top that says "scheduled to become available". Is this now out of date? I have this link that makes me ask the question. If the template comes off, should the category at the bottom be changed too? Thanks for looking into it.
