Linda Richards Chappell lives in the northernmost region of New Hampshire in the town of Clarksville. This area was once known as the Indian Stream Republic, a micro-country between the United States and Canada. Her genealogical work has been centered upon this area which was settled by families immigrating south through Quebec as well as from the southern New England states.
Originally trained in accounting and its related auditing field, Chappell has embarked in her later years on researching families which settled in the areas of the Eastern Townships of Quebec, the northeast corner of Vermont, and upper Coös County, New Hampshire.
Having served as a FamilySearch.org missionary from 2013-2018, she has moved on to cleaning up the family tree for families in her area. (Merging duplicates, adding sources, adding additional information, and fixing broken trees.) You may contact her via email with your family questions.
