Cara’s research specialties include the Mid-Atlantic region and military records.  She has vast experience as a genealogical researcher, working with guests at the Family History Library, teaching genealogy research classes, writing training curriculum and lecturing at conferences.  She has traveled extensively for research, including the Library of Congress, Library of the Daughters of the American Revolution and National Archives in Washington, D.C., University of California-Berkeley, National Archives in San Francisco and numerous libraries throughout the Intermountain West.
