Ancestral Homeland: today is northern Oregon and southern Washington

The Umatilla Reservation was established in 1855 for the Cayuse, Umatilla, and Walla Walla Indians. They joined together as the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation in 1949.
