Question[edit source]

Will the new FS Centers have access to genealogy programs like PAF, Ancestral Quest, Roots Magic and Legacy? It is a real pain in the butt to carry a laptop and transfer the data you find via a USB flash drive.

With those common genealogy programs all you need is your family flash drive with your data file. Then it is copy and paste what you find directly into your data file. When you are done for the day, properly dismount your flash drive and away you go.

Can anyone answer this question? Jrcrin001 (talk) 14:22, 28 July 2019 (MDT)

Yes, all the new FS centers have the exact same genealogy management programs that all Family History Centers do (see this Wiki page for more info: Genealogy Management Software at Family History Centers). Unfortunately, PAF was discontinue many years ago and is not supported at FS centers or FHCs. Batsondl (talk) 10:52, 6 August 2019 (MDT)
