This ancient [[England Church Records|parish]] (AP) was created before 1813. Church of England records began in 1653.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <br>SCORBROUGH (St. Leonard), a parish, in the union of Beverley, Hunsley-Beacon division of the wapentake of Harthill, E. riding of York, 4½ miles (N. N. W.) from Beverley; containing 81 inhabitants.
