Parish History[edit | edit source]
Penkhull St Thomas is an Ecclesiastical Parish in the county of Staffordshire, created in 1845 from Stoke upon Trent Ancient Parish. Other places in the parish include: Basford, Stoke Road, Penkhall, and Hartshill.
The church was designed by George Gilbert Scott. PENKHULL, a township, in the parish and union of Stoke-upon-Trent, N. division of the hundred of Pirehill and of the county of Stafford.[1]
