Parish History[edit | edit source]

Paddington St James. The present parish church was completed in 1843, and is a handsome building in the pointed style, with a tower and spire. it is dedicated to St. James. There are places of worship for Baptists and Wesleyans.[1]

St Magdalene Paddington was established and created as a district church within the civil parish boundaries of St James Paddington but was built to divide Holy Trinity Paddington specifically. It was in operation by the year 1864.

St Magdalene Paddington should not to be confused with Paddington St Mary, they are separate parishes.
