Nottingham St Matthew Talbot Street was formed as an Ecclesiastical Parish in 1856 from Nottingham St Mary the Virgin, Nottinghamshire

Southwell and Nottingham Church History Project have researched the history of the church Nottingham St Matthew Talbot Street

The church closed in September 1954 and was demolished in 1957.
