MARDEN, NORTH, a parish, in the union of West Bourne, hundred of Westbourne, and Singleton, rape of Chichester, West division of Sussex, seven miles South East from Petersfield.
North Marden St Mary is an Ancient parish in the civil parish of Marden West Sussex and was formerly a chapelry of East Marden, Sussex Ancient Parish with which it is now united.
It is an extremely isolated parish church with a semicircular Apse.
