Parish History[edit | edit source]

LUTTON, or Luddington-in-the-Wold (St. Peter), a parish, in the union of Oundle, partly in the hundred of Norman-Cross, county of Huntingdon, and partly in that of Willybrook, N. division of the county of Northampton, 5½ miles (E.) from Oundle. The living is a rectory, with that of Washingley united. There is a place of worship for Wesleyans.[1]

Lutton and Washingley is an Ancient Parish partly in Huntingdonshire and partly in Northamptonshire with the greater portion being in Northamptonshire. This Ecclesiastical Parish was etablished in 1447.
