  • Alice Lake, 44°30′20″N 121°52′07″W / 44.5056748°N 121.8686745°W / 44.5056748; -121.8686745 (Alice Lake), In the years following World War II the Oregon Fish and Game Commission had an extensive fish planting program in the high Cascade lakes. One of the important planting crews was headed by Reino Koski and included Charlie Campbell and Tom McAllister, later outdoor writer for the Oregonian. Most of the smaller lakes were unnamed and had to be designated for the records so between 1947 and 1950 the named many of the Cascade lakes. Alice Lake in the Eight Lakes Basin was named for Alice Koski, Reino's wife.
