It is difficult to define the term "minority" since everyone at one time or another finds themselves in the minority in some way. In genealogy, however, the term usually refers to an ethnic group, race, or religion representing a small percentage of the population in a given locality. Given that definition, Idaho has had, and continues to have, several minorities within its boundaries.
