HORSINGTON (St. John the Baptist), a parish, in the union of Wincanton, hundred of Horethorne, E. division of Somerset, 4 miles (S. by W.) from Wincanton, containing the hamlets of South Cheriton and Wilkenthrupp. There are places of worship for Baptists and Wesleyans.[1]
