Reference Documents[edit | edit source]
Most Reference Documents on FamilySearch are titled "Historical Background". The history in each article should be merged with the current history articles on the Wiki. The links in the table below will take you directly to the history content in both FamilySearch and the Wiki. See the Maryland History page as an example of the merged content that has also been updated with pictures, links to other Wiki articles, and links to Internet sources including Wikipedia, Google Books, and the BYU digitization project. (Step 1) - add or merge the FamilySearch documents into the article that already exists on the Wiki. (Step 2) - improve the history articles links and pictures.

US Research Guidance Content[edit | edit source]
These have been saved, but not put into the Wiki, because of the boring repetition. Pertinent content is in the Wiki, under research strategies for some states.
