The parish book from 1646-1725 disappeared between 1863 and 1881. The earliest available parish records are in the next volume which begins in 1723. By royal a decree dated 17 April 1688 Eskilstrup became an annex parish of Ønslev parish on 6 January 1694 and has remained so ever since.
