ECCLES, a parish in Guiltcross district Norfolk; adjacent to the Norfolk railway, at Eccles-Road station 2½ miles NE of Harling. [1]
Eccles St Mary is an Ancient Parish in the Diocese of Norfolk.
A 14th century round tower church the village name Eccles comes from the latin for church Ecclesia.
