- The General Archive of the Nation is the specialized entity that in archival matters promotes the management of archives and preserves the documentary heritage; to advise, regulate, train, conserve, organize, describe, increase and disseminate the nation's documentary heritage, in order to contribute to the strengthening of the nation's democracy, transparency and accountability, and promote protection and public access of his national memory.
