There is an index (manuscript) from 1616 to 1670 for Compton held at the Hampshire Record Office covering most if not all wills in this peculiar court's jurisdiction.

The administrations (admons) for this "peculiar" probate court were processed and granted through the [Consistory Court] of Winchester.
