Central Kalimantan (Indonesian: Kalimantan Tengah) is a province in Indonesia that is located in part of the Borneo Island. It covers an area of 153,564.5 km2 (59,291.6 sq mi). Its capital city is Palangkaraya. Ethnic groups in this province include the Dayak, Malay, Javanese, Madurese, Batak, Toraja, Ambonese, Bugis, Palembang, Minang, Banjarese, Makassar, papuan, Balinese, Acehnese and Chinese. [1]
