CARNABY (St. John the Baptist), a parish, in the union of Bridlington, wapentake of Dickering, East Riding of York, 3½ miles SW by W from Bridlington. It has the perpetual curacy of Fraisthorpe annexed. This place is situated on the road between Bridlington and Driffield. Church of England records began in 1596.
