Cardington (St. Mary), is a parish, in the union of Bedford, the hundred of Wixamtree, and county of Bedford. It is 3 miles ESE, the parish includes the township of Eastcotts. This parish is bounded on the north by the River Ouse. There are places of worship for Independents and Wesleyans and at Cotton-End there is a place of worship for Particular Baptists.
