CSI: Crowd Sourced Indexing is a free, web-based program for genealogy societies and Special Interest Groups to use to index their genealogy records.

Website: https://csindexing.com/

Similar to FamilySearch Indexing, CSI allows societies and SIGs to index records that they have obtained and digitized, then download the data in multiple formats to put on their own search engines.

Users can sign up and immediately begin indexing projects without needing to wait for someone to send them images and instructions -- everything is online and waiting.

Admins have the ability to create projects, monitor progress, and download the transcriptions in multiple formats at any time.

CSI offers several premium upgrades including FTP access for easier project setup, a launch page for societies, and a white label site.
