Broughton (Welsh: Brychdyn) is a village in Flintshire, Wales, close to the border with England.
The village is in the ecclesiastical Parish of Hawarden and the community of Broughton and Bretton.
Before 1974 the village was in the historic county of Flintshire and, between 1974 and 1996 in the County of Clwyd, Wales Genealogy. In 1996 it became part of the modern county of Flintshire.
