Bogø Church

History[edit | edit source]

Bogø suffered a fire on 5 June 1760 and no parish records survive before this date. However, the island of Farø was originally part of Vordingborg parish and was transferred to Bogø by royal decree on 19 April 1754. The Vordingborg parish records begin in 1679 so be sure to check these if your ancestor lived in Farø.
