BLACKMANSTONE, a parish, in the union and liberty of Romney-Marsh, though locally in the hundred of Worth, lathe of Shepway, E division of Kent, 3 miles N by E from Romney. 
Blackmanstone was an Ancient Parish in Romney Marsh to the north of St Mary in the Marsh, Kent Genealogy.
The ruined church has no trace. Edward Hasted in the "History and Topographical Survey of Kent Volume 8 (1799)" pp 272-275 notes that only a looker's hut stood, the church stood nearby but "only two or three stones remain of it."
