BLACKFORD (St. Michael), (also known as BLACKFORD near MILBORNE-PORT and BLACKFORD near WINCANTON), a parish, in the union of Wincanton, hundred of Whitley, though locally in the hundred of Horethorne, E. division of Somerset, 4½ miles (W. S. W.) from Wincanton. The Wesleyans have a place of worship.
