BURTON, BISHOP (All Saints), a parish, in the union of Beverley, Hunsley-Beacon division of the wapentake of Harthill, East riding of York, 3 miles W from Beverley. This parish is situated on the road from York to Hull. There is a place of worship for Particular Baptists and Wesleyan Methodists. [1]
