Church Records[edit | edit source]

  • Bakklandet (Bakke) clerical district contains parish registers from Bakklandet (Bakke) parish. It included Lademoen (Lade) parish until 1908. The two parishes were separated from Strinda clerical district in 1846. Bakklandet (Bakke) became a parish in Trondheim city by law of 1863. The Family History Library has microfilm copies of the church books, 1780-1927.

  • Bailiff's Census 1664-1666, no. 18: Gauldal fogderi, Strinda fogderi and Orkdal fogderi Bakklandet (Bakke) clerical district includes the parishes of Byåsen, Bakklandet (Bakke), Malvik, Hommelvik, Lade, Bratsberg, and Strinda.   • Vicar's Census 1664-1666, no. 31: Dalane deanery includes the parishes of Lade, Malvik, Mostadmark jernverk, Bratsberg, Malvik and Bratsberg all in Strinda clerical district. This census is available online at Digitalarkivet (Digital Archives).


  • Census (manntall) 1701, no. 14: Strinda and Selbu fogderi for Strinda and Selbu district includes the parishes of Byneset, Børsa, Orkdalsøra, Buvika, Skaun, Leinstrand, Klæbu, Tiller, Malvik, Lade, Bratsberg, Selbu and Tydal and is available online at Digitalarkivet (Digital Archives).


  • 1801: The 1801 census for Bakklandet (Bakke) clerical district include the parishes of Strinda, Lade, Bratsberg, Bakklandet (Bakke), Malvik, Hommelvik, and Byåsen and is available on microfilm at the Family History Library. Also available online at Digitalarkivet (Digital Archives).
