Registration of births and deaths was transferred from the Ministry of Health to the Information and eGovernment Authority in 2019. Soon all related services will be handled by the Information and eGovernment Authority.

The British Handbook may also be a resource. The British produced handbooks to provide their officials with an overview of the land, people, and politics of the region. The Gazetteer of the Persian Gulf includes coverage over the region of current day Bahrain. It was known at the time as the Trucial States of Oman.

1941: National Census - 82% Bahraini, 12% Non-Bahraini Information may include:
