Parish History[edit | edit source]
ASGARBY (St. Andrew), a parish, in the union of Sleaford, wapentake of Aswardhurn, parts of Kesteven, county of Lincoln, 2¾ miles (E.) from Sleaford; containing, with the hamlet of Boughton.[1]
Also known as Asgarby in Kesteven. Abolished ecclesiastically in 1737 to help create Kirkby Laythorpe with Asgarby, although parish registers were kept separately both before and after 1737.[2][3]
