Viewing tasks lists in FamilySearch[edit | edit source]

"Recommended Tasks (website) This list is found on the FamilySearch.org homepage once you have signed in. Here you can find tasks and information to help you get started. As you input more information about your family, our system will identify work places in the first few generations of your tree where direct ancestors are missing. It also searches our historical records database for matching information about your ancestors. These record hints will be listed here and marked with a blue icon.

Ancestors with Tasks (mobile app) This list is one of the main features on the Family Tree mobile app. It allows you to quickly find ancestors who have record hints by scanning the people in Family Tree that you viewed recently, your first five generations of ancestors as well as their children, and any part of your pedigree that you have expanded."
