Allindemagle Church

History[edit | edit source]

Allindemagle is and has traditionally been an annex of Haraldsted parish. The priest's farmhouse in Haraldsted burned on 5 April 1789. Fortunately, not all of the records were lost. For Allindemagle, the births and confirmations begin in 1755 and 1764 respectively but there are no marriages or burials before the fire. Haraldsted on the other hand has a gap in the death records from 1781 to 1789 but otherwise the parish records begin in 1700.
