Alburgh, founded in 1781, was spelled Alburg from 1891 to 2006.[1]

In Town records 1792-1824 vol 1-3, there are numerical listings of the owners of each lot in 1798, 1801 and 1805.

In Town records 1818-1847 vol 4-6, there are numerical listings of the owners of each lot in 1808 and 1813 (no names on the first five lots.)
